There is nothing too big for us!

With the recent acquisition by the Mundial Group, Normandin Inc. provides a comprehensive solution for your industrial subcontracting needs; particularly in cutting (laser, plasma, waterjet and oxycutting), bending, rolling and welding of all types of metal. We've been recognized for over 25 years for the transformation of small to very large parts. By outsourcing, you prevent your growth from slowing due to lack of skilled labour or equipment performance and by turning your fixed costs into variable costs.

In business for over 25 years, we promote business relationships based on direct contacts: a firm handshake still means business to us!

To meet the high quality standards demanded by our customers, we maintain a culture of quality that ensures our products and services exceed the standards in the field.

Louis Veilleux

CEO

Louis is the head coach of Metal Bernard, a division of the Mundial Group. "Without having completed the relevant studies in this field, having simply learned on the job," as he likes to say, Louis lights up when he talks about continuous improvement.

He has surrounded himself with talented people to develop the businesses, according to his ideals, and to maintain a corporate culture of continuous improvement and promote its development.

He finds his recipe for success during his meetings, site visits, from reference books, and especially in the ideals that his father bequeathed him and wisdom his mentors have shared throughout his career.

Executive Vice President and President of Group Mundial

Upon completing his degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Mario initiated his career by spending one year in Vancouver to round off his knowledge of English. Upon returning from Western Canada, he obtained a Masters in Finance and completed the prerequisites for the Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation. He also obtained the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) title. He acquired valuable experience by working in two major accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Choquette Corriveau. But he continued to entertain his dream of becoming an entrepreneur. He realized this dream in 2004 by acquiring Metal Bernard and CDMB. Since then, he has invested himself in growing these businesses while giving the utmost importance to their human assets.

When he is not at work, Mario enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for road and mountain biking. In the wintertime he takes pleasure in downhill skiing and snowshoeing. However, his sugar bush is where he can truly escape and relax. Finally, his interest in woodworking provides him with the opportunity to express his creativity.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in finance, Eric has also completed the CMA executive program, combined with a 2nd major in management accounting in the early 2000s.

Originally the son of a farmer from the Lotbinière region, after a few years working for a financial institution in other areas of the province, an unexpected opportunity meant he was able to return to his native city in 1995.
Then, after 2 years at Desjardins, the largest company in the village, a leading manufacturer of hardwood flooring, recruited Eric, where he spent nearly 10 years as chief financial officer. It was also during this time in 2004, that Mario Ferland and Louis Veilleux invited Eric to be part of the team and join Metal Bernard, as an investor.

Beginning in February 2007, Eric subsequently directed the finances of a major transport company (Transport VA Inc. of Laurier-Station). However, in early 2011, the need to relocate to the south shore of Montreal, led Eric to make the decision to leave Transport VA. He then worked, since April 2011, as Senior Business Account Manager for HSBC Bank in Quebec City.

Through it all, Eric became a father of a beautiful family with three children. He has been director of the fire department of the municipality (since 1997) and is passionate about the forest (hunting and forest management of his wood lots).
